Possible to delete Arma files to save diskspace?

I'd like to drop DayZ on my laptop, but space there is limited. Does anyone know if you can delete any of the Arma2 / Operation Arrowhead files (like, sounds, movies, maps, whatever) and still run the game?

I'm gonna bump this question, because I am running a bliss server and 17,4 GB diskspace seem a little exessive for DayZ only. Any change we can delete arma 2 map files or does DayZ depend on those?
