Is there any way to turn down the music, but keep the effects volume up high?

I get the ambient mood of the music, but hell if it isn't 'in the way' when trying to listen for footsteps in a tense situation.

Did you even look in the options?

Option > audio options > MUSIC

Quite the simple thing to do.. And yet you had to ask on the forums....

I adjusted it before, it just never seemed to lower just the music to an ambient level. Just lowered it all the way.
