Keep spawing in to different locations?

Im a newb that has finally found 3 servers that are stable, but being friday night had a lot of people on them, so tried to find a low pop server and and when got in sent me from cherno to solnich. Server was lagging, joined another and sent me to a new location, the wilderness. Is this normal?

edit: And could someone point out where the "Wilderness" is on the map? Thanks.
