To the kid in the EU #404 server that just sits there ALL day and snipes?!

How do you have fun, he just sits somewhere in cherno with his little sniper and shoots people!

All he does is sit there, i went on the server 3 days ago, and he STILL hadn't off moved.

I'm actually wanting to form a squad to go and rip his brains out, the annoying thing is you cant be safe,

nor stand still for more than 5 seconds without being sniped now?!

its vital for supply's so this is getting pathetic now!

Well you do not need to loot Cherno/Electro.. Ever. You can find everything in those towns elsewhere, it's just not as easy.

Here's a secret tip that only veterans know, it's a very complex manuever known as not going to where the sniper is. Instead of looting in Cherno, circle around the north of it and head to Elektro.

Yes try that tip. That is much safer. I have never heard of anyone raging about being sniped in Elektro.

Or, you know, join a low pop server and run through Cherno/Elektro and loot everything you need in about five minutes.

Running through either on a 40+ server is usually suicide and if all you want to do is avoid the pvp, there's no reason to expose yourself to it. Although, just like you run a high risk of dying there, so does the sniper; if you know where to look, there's a good chance you will end up fully geared after killing him.

Then again, you can avoid getting sniped if you know the common spots and position yourself accordingly, read: not going on rooftops, sitting out in the open and crawling around the place is usually enough.

From my experience, the majority of the people I kill are those who are greedy and feel inclined to visit every rooftop, sit still in the tower of the fire station. Then there's the kind who run towards you in a straight line begging to be killed, those who feel that killing that zombie in the large open area while standing still is a great idea and the smart ones who make a large turn and approach you in silence, who will often walk away with a nice chunk of gear.

In that case accept my appologies, I guess I thought you had more experience because you had 40+ posts.

Firstly, I suggest just avoiding the area while you learn the game. It's a big map with other cities and towns. Berizino on the east coast is much safer and has everything you need there (2 x Supermarkets/ 1 x Hospital/ 1 x Military-camp/ 2 x deerstands)

Secondly, see it as a challenge. Once you get more confident, set yourself up in a decent position on the edge of town and just watch and listen. It won't take long to figure out where he is. Then it's a case of tactics. You basically want to make his life a misery so you could just Snipe him every time he's there. You probably won't even need a decent sniper rifle if you can get within 700m or so. An M16, Lee Enfield and a few other gun's will do the trick. If you don't fancy that approach you could just frag him if you can get some grenades.

Alternatively, start a thread called "Server ###, problem sniper, please help!" and watch the offers come rolling in of people willing to help. If he continues to be a problem, I'd be happy to come and deal with him for you and I'm sure many others will to.

You just described a great sniper, patient, that will kill you as soon as you stop moving and he has a clear shot, congratulations to him, and to you : get the fuck out of Cherno then, who the fuck forces you to go there? Everything you need can be found in safer places in walking range of Cherno, just because he OWNS YOU SO MUUUUCH, doesnt mean he's a kid, just means you're mad.
