Sweet, sweet karma (bandits suck)

Recommended Posts

I spawned in Cherno today and proceeded to scavenge for about fifteen minutes, finding myself a hatchet, Makarov PM, alice pack, food, drink, and most toolbelt components. I visit the fire station and discover that there are two players inside. They call out "friendly" and I return the call. I saluted and one of them pulled out a Lee Enfield and shot me in the face.

Now, I didn't lose much, but I was still upset about it because I thought I was going to make a friend. I spawn in Prigorodki and head back towards Chernogorsk. I plan to kill the fire station murderer as soon as I get a weapon. Visiting the concrete office building that shows up on the eastern entrance, I find a hatchet and head back downstairs when I am greeted by one of my favorite sounds in the game; the buzzing of flies. I get outside of the office building and, there it is. A ghillie-suited corpse. I loot the body and find this:

Cheers!

Isnt that why you bring a sniper rifle as well? The M4SD would be used to silently kill zombies?

@OP - Who says the guy you found was the one that killed you? Or even a bandit for that matter?

I certainly didn't. I just got lucky and found a corpse that I wouldn't have found if I hadn't been killed.

no

you use m9 SD for that

you use your AR / LMG for the people who manage to get too close. m4a1 CCO SD takes like 13 bullets to kill someone lol, even basic noob guns will kill you before then.

Better to use

Better to use an M9SD if you have one for that. A sniper in CQB would be better off using an AKM or M4A3 against players, imo.

True. I'll take a m4a3 cco over a m4a1 cco as any day.

The M4 SD isn't a very good PvP weapon past close range, but it's certainly not bad and it doesn't attract any zombie aggro which is good. One headshot or 3-4 body shots kills a player, same as a regular M4 or AK.

If the M9SD could be reasonably accurate past 5m, I'd agree that it's better to have an M4A3 or something as a second primary, but sometimes you can't wait for zombies to be within attacking range to kill them.

M4SD is great for a more 'hide in plain sight' position in towns at night / terrible weather. Not the best weapon for those who prefer range.

I've got an M4SD and an AS50. Excellent combination of silence and range. I don't see a problem with this loadout.
