Game Mechanic: Player Actions

Recommended Posts

There should be another tactical action that players can pull off with the right skill.

Grabbing other players: using them either as a human shield (when handgun equipped), or choking them out (when no weapon is present or rifle is equipped)

Punching and use of more melee weapons: Melee is always fun.

Jumping: to jump from one platform to another.

Climbing: to climb over fences or walls

Rappelling: to get off a roof, cliff, or helicopter quickly.

Carpentry: to keep out those pesky intruders. to build fences. to build anything that can be built with wood.

Tracking: to use scents or differences in terrain to follow a target, animal or human.

Infection leading to zombie mutation: So we can experience the other side of the spectrum. Go around attacking other players. Alert other npc zombies to player locations.

Thats all I can think of at the top of my head. Thanks.

Player grabbing and such: sure, I think that's realistic, but hell there better be away to get out of it for the "grabbie".

Melee: Yep, gonna be more in Standalone.

Jumping: Eh, COD kids would have a field day with that. Nope.

Rappeling: Maybe a rare loot tool in military places or sporting type areas. Would be hard in the engine they are using.

tracking: Totally, I mean, You can already track vehicles that knock over fences or bushes or even trees. But yeah I like it.

Mutations: Nope, this isn't LFD man.

You already break a leg when you crawl over a bump

what will happen when you jump from roof top to rooftop?, very risky, but that might make it fun...
