The Psychology behind taking a life (long read)

well you know what?

some people in the world can take it! I may have not gone to college for it and you have no proof that you actually did this, but hey ill take your word (hopefully not a impersonator) some people who shoot other people dead, it might haunt them it also might not. Think of it this way when you see an officer go through all that they just joke about it like its nothing sometimes. Well the cops i know.

The cops in my country kill innocents sometimes they dont have problems, oh well they do court problems but they live with it. People die everyday doesnt matter if you shot them or not but when they die something took their life or someone. When you lose something you lose them forever but if i see a guy trying to rob me and i shoot him dead, i dont think i would have to go through therapy cause i might have ended his life but he would have ended mine.

so if you do let him rob you and you happen to lose everything, what are you? you are dying slowly. heck hobos in my opinion die slowly they are living the same life over and over again. The poor people in my country are dying slowly, they cant feed themselves and IMO are torturing themselves. People die to malnutrition but what can we do about it?

If you do add this how would we be able to fix it? by not shooting people? So when i shoot a INFECTED isnt there psychology to that as well cause i just ended a persons life and they were SICK. So meaning to say all the infected will pop up to my face and say you killed me! you coulda healed me and you could have died and be a part of us.

Keep it the way it is. When you get shot and die by some random remember that the person who killed you for game is an ass. there are people out there that will help you!

It is hard to simulate a psychological aspect into a game. Flashing Images of faces is also kind of cheap. But as I understand it psychological problems have most times interaction with physical symptoms, like headache, hearing loss, etc. These physical symptoms are way more easy to implement.

Also I thought about a more indirect approach, e.g. change the humanity logo (the evil on) into a sad looking face, to try to let the player feel some guilt for his own actions.

Few days ago while I was high as hell I came up with the idea that involves human psychology, morality and god/religion but its too complex and Im to lazy to write it down.

This is the only game/mod where I can actually remember my first kill.
