i beleive its used in cunjunction with wire and sandbags to make tank traps, and cwire.

Are wire barricades server persistent or player persist or basically, can anyone tell me specifically how they work and how long they last for? Thanks!

Design for them is they're persistent per server like tents.

With some of the issues with servers saving persistent items and reloading them after a crash, they don't always re-appear.

you can right click the box, open it, and equip the wrench or screwdriver, and use it as a melee weapon.
