Can't join server while my mate is in it?

It's really weird , When I'm in a server my mate can't join , when he's in a server I can't join it? Were in Skype together we even tried going off skype and tried to join ALOT of different servers and never actually succeeded , were both from the UK and we both have the same DayZ version and launch from the Six launcher , We also tried using different launcher and the in game launcher. Any ideas whatsoever?

Are you currently sharing an IP? Me and my roommate are able to play together on the same server with no problems.

No he lives in a completely different area to me.
