DayZ Staff says when the tent is empty it can take days to despawn AFTER the person who owns it dies.

Good luck with that one.

I tried like hell to destroy tents that kept respawning but they kept coming back. Then someone found my camp site and they destroyed them and they never came back. I assume if another player destroys them they will stay gone.

Nope, that isn't my tent.

I have the same issue. Put down two tents...didnt like the position, so I packed them up and moved them a little further back into cover so they werent so obvious. PERFECT!! hard to see unless you look for them. The other two stuck out like a turd in a punchbowl.

Logged out..logged in the next day... now I have 4 tents, two of which spawned in right where I initally pitched the two tents.... great. sad thing is I died so now I cant pack ANY of them up. Great campsite ruined...

To top that off...now I have some tents (and my mates do as well) that will save your stuff, others will randomly delete stuff on server reboot, and others dupe certain items.

Tents are totally fooked right now...
