How to use M16 ACOG

Recommended Posts

I recently found an M16 ACOG, and am currently (hopefully) in the process of trading it off. In the meantime, however, I might like to try it out. Any idea what the ACOG sight is zeroed at?

I know. Even though google search bar is on most peoples search engine, it still seems to never be used.

Not extremely easy to go trolling through pages of data on my iPod, is it?

Why do people trade stuff in this game? Run along the debug line till you fined hacker/duper tents, bring your vehicle to that location, fill it full of stuff (duping it in the process) and then drive it to your tent stash on your server and dupe the crap out of it.

Hey what would you want to trade it for?

Right now, I was contacted by someone interested in it, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. If he doesn't, or says never mind, then I'll talk to you.

Because I am one of the few people who plays this game legitly. I don't even know how to dupe, a fact I am very proud of.

So if everyone else was rubbing a magic lamp to get stacks of cash you'd still work minimum wage 40 hrs a week just because it's "the legit way"?

You do realize that most likely anything you trade it for will be duped right?

Yup. But I really don't give a fuck. If I find a duper's camp, I'll take whatever I want. But I will not participate in duping or hacking. The person i'm trading with might just want it to dupe more of them. The point is, I'm not involved in duping/hacking, as it just ruins the game expirience.

Honestly? Because I like the idea of it. If I wanted to get the best stuff in the game, I could dupe, I could hunt beyond the borders of the game for camps, there's a number of options. But then gear loses any meaning. I'd rather kill men, raid cities, find legit camps inside the boundaries, and sometimes, yes, trade for it. What do you do for fun in DayZ? Kill noobs in Cherno, Alt-F4 when somebody comes for your precious duped gear?

Is THAT how you use the little lines on the scope!? FFS I never knew how to use those, despite the amount of FPSs I've played! God damn it. Thank you for clearing it up for me.

Not my video, but yes. All those lines, mil-dots, and any number of things on scopes are for sighting. They're definitely not there to look pretty.

I thought it had something to do with the horizon, or how far they are, or...

 I'm retarded.

Well if it was duped gear it wouldn't be very precious and thus not really worry about losing it now would I?

How's that "meaning" to the game when you run around all day and get stuff, make some trades, sneak around high level areas, and then get teleported into the air?

Thanks I'd rather bypass all that and just "reset" back to where I should have been before I got nuked, on a daily basis.
