Seeking: Group with Military level tactics

Hello I'm MajorGunHo, and overwatch is my game.

I am an experienced FPS player. I have been gaming for years. I am very mature and am seeking a group that takes Dayz very seriously. I enjoy fun, but I prefer not dying even more.

I have only been playing Dayz for two dayz. However, my desire to be part of a tactical and organized group is taking over.

I typically play overwatch / sniper in most FPS games. And I would like to find a group that is tactical enough to support this role. I am very good at quick clear descriptions.

Also very experienced in TS3/Vent/Mumble and have Skype. But prefer the prior 3.

I have a top of the line machine, so no worries about fps or lag.

If you are interested, I run a DayZ clan called Overwatch [OVW]. The name is in fact referring to the military tactic you mentioned and we use it in all of our operations.

A few things about us:

OVW was formerly an anti-bandit clan but since the last update, we've become a highly efficient, combat effective survival group. We have a loose military structure that is appropriate to DayZ employing the use of fireteams. We switch between operating casually and tactically depending on whether the enemy is not expected, expected, or known to be at a location. Originally, we were fully mechanized with 7 vehicles (2 UAZ's, 1 offroad, 2 pickups, a bus, and a car) but we recently moved servers due to lag and are currently in search of new vehicles.

We have Teamspeak 3 servers and a forum. We are also working on running DayZ servers.

Hey mate

If your looking for military tactics I think you might want to try us out, we have been a clan for Arma for six years now and we are all very proficient in teamwork and communications, we have training every Wednesday to hone in on the tactics that are learned in basic training.

We are a very experienced PvP clan, we have PvP events every weekend(which everyone is welcome to) and we play a mod called Project Reality which is a purely PvP mod.

The method you are referring to we use in every town as a cover and approach method, we will usually have two man teams, two snipers and two assaulter's.

We will also make you more Pro-efficient in anything you want to learn such as sniping.

Just come give us a try and if you dont like us then just carry on searching, oh and we aren't milism, we just know when it gets tough.
