I was getting pretty bored with Day Z to be honest, after playing for about a week and trying hard to stay alive and out of peoples way while secretly hoping to find them because I was scared to lose my gear, it was getting a little stale. Running around with insane luck i found a huge loot cycled stash of weapons and grabbed an M4A1 CCO SD with 8 mags and turned the corner in an apartment building to find a Ghillie whilst in the same day scoring NVG's and a GPS off of a corpse in a Supermarket. Being the best and without worry was getting old, and I knew I had to lose my attachment to the loot. So what did i do? I ran across NWAF and lived, but i managed to do it again the next day and was promptly destroyed. I restarted and I've been having a ton of fun. Axe murder? You bet your sweet ass. Gunning down fools? Damn right. Running through cherno with my hands in the air? That's a fun experience to be honest too. Try it sometime guys, it seriously helped me. Kill some people, live a short brutal life and cause harm and try to team up with sketchy people in Cherno and see if you live,it was a seriously nice break from proning through towns and scouting everywhere before I went in.

TL;DR - Axe murder, gun down and try to team up with people in Cherno and Elektro. Scaring people is pretty good too and so is misleading people only to kill them and drink their salty tears. See how long you can survive, its damn fun.

I've heard they're fine. Put a can into it, wait for restart, put valuables in. profit. That's what ive heard, never tested it because i can't score a damn tent.

Sounds like you're having fun, dude but I'm almost at 11,000 humanity soooo....no. I won't be joining you. :)

I'm sure I'll make a sweet minus-humanity score for any real bandits out there. But sadly, most of the players choosing this path:

• Mainly kill fresh spawns who are unarmed (stay classy, guys)
  
• Prefer a tougher challenge, but have no idea how to zero a target past 200/300 metres (Oh, you have an AS50? Tell me what a good sniper you are...)
  

or

• Hang around the major towns and shoot at anyone who happens to fire a gun anywhere in the vicinity (a la Sacriel & Co)
  

I'm hoping to run into some of the more interesting banditry out there such as the kidnappings or muggings that the internet tells me do happen, but most players can't seem to be bothered communicating past wildly unloading clips at me.

Ah well. I'll keep knee-capping these kiddies with my SVD until a bandit warlord appears and makes me feel threatened. :)

I lost a char with a Ghillie Suit, NVG, GPS, all that jazz by accidentally hitting respawn somehow (even though it was disabled...idk how that happened.) and I've been having fun with an axe in cherno and electro. Not necessarily killing everyone I see but just messing with them in some way. Riding a bicycle down the middle of cherno dodging all the terrible snipers on 50+ player servers is great fun :P
