Chose female but my character is male?

With the new update i made my character a female and at first it was fine but i spawned with low blood and i eventually went unconscious and after my character woke up i tried to meet up with a friend so he could give me a blood transfusion... long story short i fell off the hospital and broke my leg and got eaten. Now after respawning i noticed my character was a male and i cant change back any way i can change this?
