Random switching from female to male

I was playing as a female character, died, and respawned as a dude. I had died a few times before and stayed female but now I randomly switched to male and respawning or logging onto a different server does nothing. Any ideas?

The system is a little broken as of yet. Its being worked on, just have patience.
