I cant running vanilla Arma2 Operation arrowhead/ Combined Ops without Beta + Mic wont work over VOIP

*Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED: Mixed: Arma 2 is CD version(up to date) Operation arrowhead is STEAM

*Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?: Version 96015

*Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: It wont launch though steam without beta, wont launch without beta in Sixlauncher.

*What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: I cannot launch Arma 2 oa or Combined ops Without it saysing "Arma 2 has stopped responding" while it was loading the check marks and it hasn't been a problem until recently, I could not use VOIP (voice chat). I tested it on regular Arma 2, And it worked because people responded. But when i play Operation arrowhead Nobody would respond and when i ask about it they say they didn't hear me. Here is what i tried to do,.... I set my microphone as default, my mic works on skype and all but not Operation arrowhead, My key bindings are fine. I need your help please.

About a month ago, when you installed the beta patch, a large warning would appear, stating that if you wanted to remove the beta, you would have to reinstall.

At least, that's what I recall.

So idk what the problem is. By the sounds of it, you do not have the original Arma2.exe(spellcheck) WHen installing the beta, did you override the original Arma2.exe application? If you did that, then you will have to reinstall Arma 2 and all it's goodies.

WHEN YOU REINSTALL! MOVE THAT ORIGINAL FILE TO A FOLDER! For back up.

I think it may be altering a little more than just that original exe, these days.

I am going to re install Operation arrowhead, I will edit this when i am done, or if it fixes.

Well, the only reason i say this is because he mentioned Steam can not run it. Soooooo my 2 cents :D

I fixed this, Just a regular re-install wont work, i had to go into the Operation arrowhead folder and delete all my mods and everything contained in the folder. Then i tried running vanilla/CO and it worked fine.
