Problem with zombie agro or intentional?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone noticed that zombies are now agroing form like a mile away? Even when you are crouched?

Is this intentional or a bug? It seems kind of ridiculous that a zombie saw me from that far away.

It's a "bug". The zombies were supposed to be able to see you from farther, but not as far as they some ties aggro. Then there's the zombies that let you leap-frog them and they have no idea. I'm sure it'll be fixed in 1.7.3.

Has anyone looked inside the dayz_code.pbo and checked out the code? maybe it is a simple fix.

I seem to find I catch aggro from insane ranges when I changed from a crouch stance to going prone. I can be running straight up and when I lie down then I aggro though... its very strange.

If you aggro, run to a bush/pine tree immediately crouch when you get to the other side, if there is a enough distance they will lose you. In a city it is so easy, you just run into a house out the other door and crouch walk away.
