Performance Issue

Currently I can play the game alright as long as I am not in Cherno / Elektro as of right now I believe my graphics card is the issue, but before I buy a new one I figured I would get some insight as I know this game is also hard on a processor.

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series (750MB Card)

Processor: Intel Core i5 3.2GHz (Quad Core)

I have a buddy who runs the same processor and can play Dayz / Arma2 on max settings with a better graphics card. So I am pretty much positive I just need a new graphics card and so I planned on upgrading to Geforce GTX 550 TI 2GB card. Think that would solve my issue of lagging in cherno / elektro? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I heard that this game is also very HDD dependant.. So maybe you have a slower HDD than your friend ?

What's his Graphics Card ?
