Trouble running

I have the retail version of Arma 2 CO. I have unzipped all the dayz files in the addons folder in the @dayz folder. When I go to add the line -mod=dayz line to the target it says i can't. My directory is this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\arma2OA.exe". I have tried adding no splash etc. But it still wont work please help.

Try using the DayZ installer. It's in the stickies section and it's what I used to install DayZ and it worked out flawlessly. You still have to add the launch command in Steam but after that it's easy sailings.

I dont have steam. I have to edit the target line in a shortcut.
