performance help PLZ!

I need some help guys my computer is having some perfomance issues, im trying to run the game at a reasonable fps if anyone can help me here is my specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 521

• Operating speed: Up to 3.5 GHz
  
• Number of cores: 2
  
• Socket: AM3
  
• Bus speed: 4000 MHz HT3
  
• TDP: 65W
  

Video graphics: ATI Radeon 4200

edit:anyway you cant go higher than 720p with your hardware. or try even lower resolutions.

yeah it had me at 1600x900x32 so nothing above 720 anything else i cand do to increase my performance (fps)?

1600x900 actually is about 50% higher than 720p (1280x720) regarding pixelcount...

so, try reducing your resolution...

any suggestions on the advanced settings? i also brought res down to 1280x720

try with everything set to low or off...reduce view distance...and from there on work your way up by increasing settings...

if there's still lag, reduce resolution further...

you might also just set everything to the lowest possible setting (including resolution) to see if that runs well...

if it doesn't there won't be anything you can do to get good fps...
