mark.weber@hundehalstuch.info 0 Posted August 16, 2012 Cmon Dayz Dev team... you hunt for locked servers... just for example:we got hacked 6x times in 2 days ! my wish is to lock the server, ppl. can contact us for pw and play a fair game...but if i do that, the dev team bl us... I pay for our server, yes i know it's just an alpha, i did not know, that hackers are such a big part for gametesting.We want to have fun, we want fair games in dayz, AND WE DONT WANT HACKERS! Allie (DayZ) 97 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) Read your server log files and find the bad guys, maybe use "#userlist" ingame to get the id number of the bad guy, then there should be a way to have a ban.txt file which will be used when starting your server, if you enter the id number of the bad guy in the text file, the bad guys should not be able to connect anymore.Make sure to report the info you can find on bad guys, to the correct forum treat, this will make a global ban possible. tad@tadshackles.com 75 Posted August 16, 2012 Also make sure your Battle Eye client is up to date, they update that thing like every 72 hours. Read up on all the options it has for specific scripts and actions to take... Its good stuff. You can set it to auto-ban anyone who uses a script.
