wasrad 42 Posted May 29, 2012 ARMA II has native support for the 360 controller. If you are using any other controller you are doing it wrong.

Gibbaaa 0 Posted July 1, 2012 Get a grip, you think because you use a keyboard and mouse your superior?
cuca 20 Posted July 1, 2012 Who would play arma with controller? Something is terribly wrong here .
mansen 1 Posted July 1, 2012 Get a grip' date=' you think because you use a keyboard and mouse your superior?[/quote']No - using "a" mouse is superior to using a controller on a PC. Unlike consoles you don't get your 50 grams of aimbot.
Wulfear 6 Posted July 1, 2012 mouse beats stick when it comes to aiming, every time.
grrinc 7 Posted July 1, 2012 If your a pvp type player ( in which case, just 'effin' play Arma II ) - then a mouse and keyboard arrangement would best. If like me, you prefer surviving and lone wolfing, then the controller is fantastic. Playing in my recliner with the pc hooked up to my tv is awesome. And the few times I have engaged in gunfights, I won - so it ain't that bad.
Gibbaaa 0 Posted July 2, 2012 Yeah im just trying to survive not here for pvp, i can aim just fine on xbox so im sure ill manage ok here. If the mouse and keyboard experts kill me im sure ill be fine, its a game not the end of the world. So does anyone know why my controller doesnt work in game with xpadder but it works on the desktop? Have i missed something, a setting somewhere perhaps?
DeTaiLz 18 Posted July 8, 2012 Nice gonna try this!
LieutenantDan 1 Posted July 8, 2012 Obviously mouse and keyboard is the best way to go with infantry. Where i find the controller useful in arma2 is vehicles, especially helicopters or jets were an analog stick makes for much smoother flying.
