DayZ prevents Combined Ops launch

Recommended Posts

Hi there. Hopefully I won't keep you guys long with this.

I can't launch CO with DayZ installed. Here's how I've installed and what I've tested so far.

I use retail for both A2 AND OA.

1. I installed all DayZ files to my OA directory as instructed.

2. Set up target line as instructed.

3. Launched OA, combined ops did not load. Checked expansions, and confirmed that Arma 2 was not among the list.

4. Reset OA target line, thus disabling DayZ. Combined Ops loaded fine.

My directory for both A2 and OA;

C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons

I have a feeling that my install directories may hold the problem, since they are in separate Program Files. Can someone confirm that this would cause a problem before I mess around with my install? If this is not the problem, then a little troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Perhaps that could be the issue. Try to pay me a visit on the DayZ TS sometime this weekend if possible. I'll see what I can do.

I might be able to catch you sometime today. I finish College at 1PM (GMT London), and you finish School at 3 PM your time. That makes it around 8PM my time... Is there any chance of me catching you at 5PM your time? (10PM mine)

(I live in Perth, Scotland. Aren't timezones a wonderful thing?)
