Another Bandit Skin thread

Not complaining, trying to argue etc.

I just got ARMA2 for DayZ last week, meaning I never got to see the old bandit skin. My friend showed me the old skin compared to the new one, and I am just wondering, why?

Right now I have the hero skin, but it just seems like the bandit skin shouldn't be a skin because the hero skin just beats the hell out of it. Anyways, I was wondering if there were any plans to bring back the old skin/make a new one?

On a side note - my graphic quality is set to 'Very High' but yet the textures of the characters clothing look worse than 8 bit, it looks like they were colored by a child. Any fix for this?

my suggestion: Fix the new one or bring back the old one :)

The hero suit looks so good compared to the bandit one, a headwrap seriously? Still, the old one was too much of a giveaway, it was completely white which meant you couldn't hide even in bushes.

I also have the same problem with the character textures, it looks so ridiculously bad, Arma II is pretty old though.

The old bandit skin looked pretty cool, but its cons outweighed the pros.

The bad textures may be because you're using the free version of ARMA II. Good luck with your solutions!

You need to buy the Private Military Company DLC for the survivor skin to have high resolution textures, and the British Armed Forces DLC for the Ghillies suit and Camo Clothing.

Do you mean the Armed Forces to have Ghillie suits and Camo, or the texture for the camo? Because I have a pair of camo clothing.

Getting all the DLC packs is good if you are looking for better clothing textures, such as you. I just got them as they actually improved on ArmA2. I am an actual player of it, not just DayZ. It helps alot with DayZ, when all the textures actually look like they should.
