G36C SD

So last night i died for no reason, respawned in kamenka with no gear (still had ghillie and all zed kills/murders) and was like oh well, its alpha.. just get on with it. Head to cherno where i found a tent by the road just west of town... it had an m4 SD. Grabbed that and headed in to get food, pack, tools etc. Eventually got sniped by an as50 from top of the biggest tower (can only assume it was a hacker because after he shot me, he immediately swung around and took shots at my friend who was ghillied overwatch north of the apartments/hospital)

Respawn and go back to my body, where i see some dude over it (he has an ak kobra).. i Hide for a bit, then go in and loot my body. All my gear is still intact except for the m4 SD... its replaced with a G36C SD.

I pick it all up and get teh f*** out.

Im gonna use this gun, just wanted to know if it breaches any rules....?

EDIT: i heard that Rocket had said if you find a hacked gun, use it... is this true?

it's a hacked weapon, but you still can use it and you won't get banned by battle-eye.

although be careful as admins on servers may think you hacked it in.

when i find hacked weapons i mostly put them on bodies and hide them.

your choice :D

The G36c SD in particular is not much of a taboo-stricken weapon, as it has stats identical to the M4 CCO SD, it just has a holo sight.

Has the same muzzle velocity and damage, as it uses the same subsonic rounds.

I've got a few of these tucked away from some of my kills.

You can use it, at the time i didn't know that you couldn't get banned for them and i sat there saying that we could cop a global ban but this is what happened for our encounter (i really do take every oppertunity to post my mate's videos around eh?).

cool thanks dudes. btw josh that most likely wasnt a hacker in the vid.... Considering he didnt have any other good gear i would say hes either been weapon swapped by a hacker or he found it on a body.

If someone kills me they'll probably assume the same thing.

Today I watched a helicopter crash not far outside of Zelenogorsk. I went to investigate and in the downed chopper found G36C SD and also as50 with thermal scope both with 4 clips of ammo. It seemed like this was a server spawned helicopter crash.

What are peoples thoughts on this?

Pretty sure its hacked only. Yes, its possible it was added with the last update.

I've seen loads of chopper crashes and never seen either the as50 tws or g36c SD at the loot spawns, ever.

On another note, on NZ 06 today the entire server was given an AS50 and an M4A1 CCO SD, all tools etc (basically everything). So i've lost the G36C.

Some fool did this then teleported the entire server to one location and disabled the abort button. I accidentally pressed ALT and then F4 ;)
