Mark88 9 Posted August 16, 2012 So I have my pistol, m1911 I think, and it's getting dark and I enter a building and need my flashlight. I bring up my inventory and right click on pistol, but no option to do anything, so I move it to my bag, then remove flashlight from tool belt, but when I went to get pistol, it was gone! I thought it may have dropped and searched the area where I made the change and did not see it.Any advise? Thanks!
resin_ 97 Posted August 16, 2012 Move your pistol to your backpack first :)
herrjon 478 Posted August 16, 2012 Did you have enough space in your bag? Sidearms take up 5 slots.
S1ippery Jim 139 Posted August 16, 2012 Yes it is rather unwieldy to switch to flashlight. Chemlights are your friend. Your backpack ate your pistol because you didn't have enough space. I hate it when that happens

But seriously, it is a bug, and everybody loses a weapon to it at some point or another. I wouldn't sweat it though, 1911's are pretty common loot. Best bet are the apartments in Berezino, I always find like five of them there.Happy Hunting
Mark88 9 Posted August 16, 2012 Ok, thanks for the info, at least I now know about not putting stuff in pack if no room.
