Dayz graphic stuttering

After I play Dayz for a while my game sometimes develops a stutter and lag that will happen every 1-2 seconds. When I opened Arma 2 operation arrowhead to see if it was just a problem with Arma in general, the game played fine with no lag or stuttering.

No matter how low or high I turn the graphic settings it makes no difference with the stutter.

My specs are:

CPU: AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics

CPU Speed: 2.4 GHz Performance Rated at 5.40 GHz

RAM: 7.7 GB

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6550D Graphics with 4.0 GB of video RAM

Does anyone else have this problem or knows how to fix it? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

sounds like something periodically accessses your hdd...

try disabling your virus protection or set exceptions for the game...(and disable as much uneeded background programs as possible)

Ok it seems like when I restart my computer it fixes itself. I keep my computer on for around 5 days then restart it. I don't know if this makes a difference.

I have been playing Dayz for around 10 hours since I restarted my computer last night. When I first got on after the restart I was running really smooth but after a while of playing im now at like 5 FPS, I don't get it.

the game may have some memory leaks...

so prolonged sessions might get worse performance over time...
