Ok sooo I forgot. This is going to sound dumb but whatever.

Just got a new laptop, installed arma 2 & OA, but do I right click them when theyre done and go to properties and then verify cache files right?

I've done it for both but they both didnt finish, there was some kind of problem or something. Thanks!

That's a good thing, means its grabbing what's missing. Then you're gonna wanna launch OA once and exit out, then get to installing DayZ & the lastest Arma II beta patch. (I'd recommend DayZ Commander if you don't use it already) Good Luck!

I have Dayz Commander but I cant install the updates? :/ It says "Dayz Path Unknown, check settings"

I personally use the new "Play with SIX" Launcher, wich is perfectly easy to handle. You should try it.
