Looking to manually update need help

I have looked through the forums but maybe I didn't look hard enough. I can't find instructions on how to manually update my game. If anyone could show me where or tell me how that would be fantastic. Thanks :)

if you mean dayz simply download the files to your computer. You can find them on this site. Then go to this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons.

delete everything there and copy the files you just downloaded into that folder.

Here we go!

1.) Download the torrent here : http://dayzmod.com/?Download

2.) Extract the folder with the 10ish files to your desktop.

3.) Navigate to C:/program files/steam/.../Operation Arrowhead/@dayz/addons

4.) Overwrite the files you downloaded over the files in that addons folder.

5.) Done. Download Dayz Commander so you never have to do that again :)

Thank you guys.. the reason i want to manually is because every time i open dayz commander or six launcher it disconnects me from the internet til its done!

Use one or the other not both as six launcher changes the directory path and overwrites everything it buggers up dayz commander

just use dayz commander. It's 10 times better! Make sure to cross the option to launch the game through steam if that bothers you
