Diz (DayZ) 35 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) So...Apparently there is no beta version 95824 listed on the arma2 beta page, but several 1.7.2.5 DayZ servers are listed(some contrary to their hostname) as running 95824, and from what I can ascertain, they are basically inaccessible to anyone running any other version combo. What the shit? Is this some kind of limited invite only beta version, or is this some hacked workaround to keep people off the servers in question? Anyone know?examples:US 1574HSV 1US 1931US 2266 Edited August 15, 2012 by Diz
jordan2412 60 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Maybe it is a closed beta test, or you found the servers they're running for GamesCom, that have the dog in it. They mentioned releasing it right after GC, so it would make sense if they're showing it off right now. not sure why it'd be a US server though... karg 4 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Don't know what you are talking about, they released 95948 yesterdayhttp://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/I'm running 95913 on my server.[EDIT]The dedicated server executable is usually a higher version than the client but you should always be able to connect with the corresponding client.
