lentWolf 24 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) So, as the title so blatantly suggests, I just have a couple of questions. I couldn't find any definitive answers through my searches, so felt this was the best option.First Question:I've *heard* (here's where the 'nothing definitive' part comes in to play) that a hacker can make it look as though someone else in the server is hacking. Does this apply to all malicious scripts, or only to specific scripts?Second Question:This builds off of the first question. I think I already know the answer here, but I don't want to ban the wrong person if they've been 'framed'. Can someone confirm this guy did, in fact, reference external files on his own system (not that someone else made it look like he did) to exploit the game? He is/was a friend, so just wanted to be 100% before I take any action :/PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #0 "[] spawn{player addAction ['Inf Ammo', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\Inf Ammo.sqf']"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #0 "[] spawn{player addAction ['ESP', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\ESP.sqf'];};"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #0 "[] spawn{player addAction ['TP', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\Teleport.sqf'];};"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID- #188 "C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\Teleport.sqf'];};"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #0 "[] spawn{player addAction ['Superkit', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\Superkit.sqf']"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #0 "[] spawn{player addAction ['God Mode', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\God Mode.sqf']"PLAYERNAME (IPremoved) GUID - #196 "[] spawn{player addAction ['God Mode', 'C:\Users\
\Desktop\Day Z\aimloader\Scripts\God Mode.sqf']"Sure, you say 'Oh, that's obvious' - but if it's possible to run these scripts under the guise of a different player (the GUID matches the player in question), perhaps it's not him/her. I tend to think this player is guilty - but, would hate to jump to the wrong conclusions. Hence my first question. Thanks in advance for any advice/answers! Colditz 54 Posted August 15, 2012 I'm not sure about part 1 but part 2, just like you said, looks extemely obvious. The way I see it he's keeping the hacks right on his desktop for ease access. I'd tell him to kindly stop hacking and wait for his reaction, depending on that I'd ban him. (If I were you I would've already banned him)
lentWolf 24 Posted August 15, 2012 Yeah, he's a brother of one of our members, so was just trying to cover the bases. We have a zero-tolerance policy, so he's definitely about to get wiped - but was hoping someone could prove me wrong :/
