Muninn 0 Posted August 15, 2012 So my friend just installed DayZ today, using DayZ Commander.We both have the same Arma II and DayZ versions.However when we try to connect to a server he gets the error in the topic, while i dont.We've tried everything, reinstalls, administrator settings EVERYTHING ive been able to google/find here.any assistance? Jepix 20 Posted August 15, 2012 I'm having no problem with the SixUpdateLauncher, but since DayZCommander lets you already install the 1.7.2.5 update, i decided to try that too. I don't have problem with my 6-updater, but i get the same 'Bad version, server rejected connection' when i use DayZCommander, and i connect to the same servers i do as with 6-updater. resin_ 97 Posted August 15, 2012 By reinstalls, does that mean Arma II and OA? If not, (assuming you purchased through Steam) open his games library and right click OA. Then select properties, and try "validating the integrity of the game cache". After that is done, launch OA once, and exit it. Now try to connect! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

NavalTech86 0 Posted August 15, 2012 I started having the same issue today as well. Nothing I have tried so far has worked. I am running the six launcher, and Arma II and Arma OA through steam.
