Just check out these videos. Think about how epic it would be if someone crashes their helicopter in the forest and it sets half the woods on fire. Especially during the night time, it would increase the immersion and it just adds that awesome effect to it.

I did and I did not see any suggestions regarding propogating fire.

Those aren't search results related to propogating fire. The closest thing I saw was the "bush fire" and that is an arma 2 glitch.
