Hello Guys,

every time I try to join a server, DayZ closes while I'm in the loading screen with this errormessage: dataerror (CRC)

I just downloaded ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 CO, installed the OA-Patch 1.62, started both once, downloaded DayZ Commander, patched ArmA and DayZ through the Commander and then tried to join a server. While I was in the loading screen, the game closed and I got the error. I already downloaded the game a second time, but it didn't work. Now I don't know what else I could try, and hope you guys can help me :)

I would do two things from within commander.

  • Downgrade your arma2 patch to 95883, see if this fixes your problem, it seems to be the most popular version at the moment.

  • If the above doesn't work, downgrade your DayZ Version to 1.7.2.4 and then immediately upgrade it to 1.7.2.5 so effectively "reinstall" 1.7.2.5.
