White circle around NPCs

What happened:

All NPCs, from zombies to animals, have white circles around them that i can see through buildings and at a distance

Where you were:

Barn north of three trees valley

What you were doing:

looting the barn with a flare

I was running up the road with a flare in my hand, it burnt out, i threw another one, killed a zombie that was attacking me and ran in the barn.

i was safe in the barn, no zombies aggro ed on me, i looted it and then logged out. Came back on in the barn, took a long time to load, but then i saw the white circles around NPCs.
