Primary Weapon and backpack glitch (different one)

Hi, so i have been experiencing this glitch with my new gun, the MK 48 Mod 0. Whenever I want to pickup a backpack my primary is removed (discarded on the ground) and whenever I try to pick up my primary (through the G menu) my backpack is removed. I have gotten round it by putting on my backpack then storing the gun inside it, I am however unable to equip it without losing my backpack :( .

I have checked on the wiki and it does not replace the backpack slot.

Any help is appreciated as I am down to a secondary for now.
