Stuck on Loading

Two days ago everything was going fine but today when I went to play every server I join I get stuck on loading and I'm not sure why. At first it seemed like a battleeye problem after I joined a server and I was stuck at loading with a white bar above it but then my friend said that it had kicked me because my Battleeye failed to respond so I followed someones guide to get it to respond and apparently it kinda worked however now I'm stuck at the normal loading screen.

Because you're on a different version than the server.

Try updating your game or join a server that's on the same version as you are.

Had the same problem. This worked for me. Download Dayz Commander. And get the last update from dayZ ( Can be found here: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/67383-hotfix-build-1725-rolling-update/ ) U do need torrent for it though. go to your DayZ files. Bought mine on steam so might be a diffrent location from yours. Will be a map in there somewhere called @dayz or something like that (Cant check it 100% cause dont have the computer at this moment) Say yes to all files. This will replace the older files for newer ones. Launch DayZ commander choose a server and have fun. Why use DayZ commander? Well it looks like Six launcher downgrades ur version. Current version is 1.7.2.5 and Six launcher puts u back to 1.7.2.4. If it works AWSOME HAVE FUN AND MIGHT SEE U IN GAME SOME TIME. if not u can contact me will try to help as much as i can. :P

Different version of DayZ? Unless he released 1.7.2.6 then I should be on the correct version 1.7.2.5 (same version I had 2 days ago.) If you mean that I have the wrong beta version I updated that today. If you mean the wrong BattleEye I can't update it myself.

Its not the servers its Six Launcher. Keeps putting you back to 1.7.2.4. Like i posted above. I had the same problem. Since i did those steps i said in my last post i have no problems no more what so ever.

Your post helped for a bit but I disconnected from a server a little awhile ago and then when I went to get back on I'm having the white loading bar issue again

Its those files that keep messing up. might need to replace them again. Dont know if u use dayZ commander or still six launcher. If its still six launcher he will keep replacing those files with a older version. If its DayZ commander. at the top right cornor u got a button for more information. Will say stuff like arma2 up to date or out of date. And it says dayZ up/out of date. maybe update em trough there might work... Can take some time though.

Edit: Try it a few times. If it all wont work try it on diffrent servers. If u have it on steam try cashe check on Arma 2 and Arma 2 arrow expansion. If nothing works i recommend to deinstall DayZ first and than fresh install it and see if that works, if not deinstall arma2 and the expansion aswell and reinstall the whole thing. If nothing works im out of idea's =/

1 tip: download DayZ Commander it wont change ur files and its as good as the ingame launcher. All i can say. So if the problem keeps repeating its the files. Those files are constantly being put back to1.7.2.4. So its not only six launcher/updater but also arma launcher. Didnt know that. Anyways Have fun Playing DayZ again ;)

Edit: I think its cause of the 1.7.2.5 is still in test fase atleast thats what rocket said: "Please do not grab this update, and then QQ because you can't find a server. Install to a new @dayz mod folder and use when servers become available" So everyone probably got the update already yet it is not fully released and the launchers might have problems with it.

So i think the launcher is seeing it as a wrong version and think its updating it.. However its downgrading cause the update is still in testing phase. Unlike the DayZ commander it sees its a higher version and keeps it instead of thinking its "updating" a older version. Anyways glad it worked out for ya.

this obviously isn't ideal, but it seems to work if you want to keep using 6launcher:

1. download 1.7.2.5.

2. open 6launcher and let it verify, update or whatever - but don't join a server yet.

3. with 6launcher still open, overwrite the @dayz files with the 1.7.2.5 ones you dl'd in step 1.

4. **optional** download and install the latest necessary arma 2 beta patch, making sure not to close 6launcher (most servers are using a patch that 6l pushes automatically, so this isn't always necessary)

5. join a server - it should work now.

steps 1-3, and 4 if necessary, will have to be done each time you close 6launcher, at least until 6launcher pushes the 1.7.2.5 update.

**note** it's also possible this ISN'T the reason you're stuck on the loading screen. if this or the dayz commander fix doesn't work, you should report it to the devteam.

Easiest thing to do because i was having the same problem, this is how i fixed it.

1: Download and install the newest version of Day Z commander.

2: Check what version(s) the server you want to join are running on (ArmA II and DayZ)

3: And then In Commander click on the versions tab select the same versions as the server and download and install them right from Day Z commander.

Yeah, I completely removed Six-Launcher as it is no where near as good as DayZ Commander, you should all use it.

What about those of us who never use any auto-updater/launchers? I manually update always, and dayZ works, but only 1 or 2 times out of every 10attempts right now. I get stuck on loading text with the bar....cant find any pattern to it at all. So you're theory is incorrec sorry.
