So, does crashed heli loot respawn?

SO, haven't found a crashed heli since the update. Does the loot spawn AROUND the heli, or IN it. Also, does it respawn like normal loot (making it farmable ala barracks) or does it only show up on a server restart?

EDIT: I'm retarded, had like 3 tabs open and thought I was in General Discussion, can a mod move this? Sorry

Loot should be around it (the middle section where seats / gun turrets are)

I have checked the heli and around heli. No option to loot anything. Found a couple of sites. Someone said they are bugged but I dont know. Would like some clarification

Found multiple helicopters (4 of them), no loot and I couldn't enter them. They seem to be bugged.

They are bugged, found a couple today. None had any loot and could not interact with the choppers.

Can you not press M whilst in the heli to access the gear menu as you would in an ArmaII mission?
