DE (DAO.nu) Server´s for 50€ each (upto 100 slots)

Hey at all,

i wanna Publish here what we have and what else we as Server provider since the beginning of ArmA 2 (more then 250 slots Berzerk) run to bring the best Performance and fun over to u Players!

our Serverdata,

Intel Core I7 950 clocked at right now 3,8Ghz

8Gb DDR 3 Ram (Kingston HyperX)

2x750gb Samsung HDD RAID 0

1 Gbit up and down

Intel Core I7 980X @ 4,2

24gb ram

2x 120gb SSD

also to the Software,

since 2 years we are involved in the Development of several Secuirty and Rcon tools:

Desktop Control ArmA 2 rcon (Admins local Computer)

Ingame Admin over Chat

-!wrn Rocket and he gets a Warning

-this tool also has an Badlanguage and Nicknamefilter

-several Admins can take action to the same Time.

comming soon:

-command to make room

-reserved slots (planned)

DAO.nu does keep logfiles from the chat also from the transfered script for 24hrs, if something is suspect.

I like your servers, I only play on DE1 / DE2 because it's the most stable and has the most slots :3

Decided to use DE2 as my main server, but it seems to be down. Can't play anywhere else until it comes back up as I'm out WAY in the middle of nowhere with my vehicle, Any idea when it will come back up?

I only see DE1 and 4 online in-game right now, tried using your website before posting but found it alittle hard to navigate, any suggestions for getting the server to appear in-game?

Hey, 1.5.6 just released, DE servers seem to not be restarting/updating properly. You said you needed to be informed of these things lol

Just today, we have put 3 tents down on DE1, and hit the save option... arround 19:00 gmt+1, we continued playing for a while... and we relogged at 23:30 and all the tents where gone.

There have been a tent reset on that server?, we had tested it yesterday and even after the 1.5.6 update they were working fine, but this time they just vanished O_o

I am one of the admins on DE1...you will usually always get a message telling you why we had to kick you. Mostly its an autokick because we lower the maximum ping limit to 100 if we have a bunch of high ping players connecting or trying to connect at the same time when their pings are near the maximum set limit, it just causes red chains and lag, The server is usually set around 250 max ping, when this happens (and it does a lot just now) we drop the ping and they get kicked off. if you have had a lag spike you are more than likely to have been kicked by autokick for exceeding the maximum ping...sorry but that's the way we try and keep the server running lag free and spoiling the game for the majority of players with low pings to it. So long as there is not a lot of high ping players on the server we let them play. When too many get on the server at one time we lower the ping limit and it autokicks them and keeps the server running smooth. You may also have been one of the couple of players i accidentally kicked a few days ago through rcon by clicking on the wrong player name, but you were just kicked not banned, if thats the case, i do apologise.
