dizzymagoo 19 Posted May 28, 2012 I never received any sort of notice that there was a new hive, until after I updated to the new patch, rebooted the servers, noticed it, took them down, updated, rebooted the servers again, pissing everyone off. I checked the announcement forum... nothing. I check the servers general forum... nothing. There was no direct announcement about the hive update no, which was an issue for me as I did the same as I was totally unaware. I always stalk the announcements and server sections for information.Luckily when checking the file directory of the link I was sent via email in the past, there was a hive update (though it was labelled to the current version numbers. Would be greatly appreciated if updates like this were mentioned in the server hosts section every time a hive update happens.Though there was no mention about a hive update at all (which isn't good), the staff are usually good at posting an announcement somewhere with info if there's an update (like the change with mission files). The problem they have at the moment is there's still a lot of server hosts that 1. aren't stalking these forums enough and 2. aren't added to the google group/forum section, so the staff are forced to post in the public forums so it gets coverage. dizzymagoo 19 Posted May 28, 2012 Alfie,I stalk these forums 24/7(Except for the couple hours of sleep I get a day). That's why I was upset about no hive update post! I was on top of the mission file update and the other hive update. But as there was no thread of this one, I got boned... Hard.
