Nickds54 6 Posted August 15, 2012 Ok so I updated like 3 or 4 day(z) ago and I don't think it actuallY updated because a lot of servers are on 1.7.2.5 and I'm still on 1.7.2.
KennyNZ 121 Posted August 15, 2012 Last I checked, the new DayZ files were not uploaded to six yet, as they are not officially released. You have to do it manually.
Pyro_Marine 147 Posted August 15, 2012 I haven't been able to play for three days. I just sit at "loading"
herrjon 478 Posted August 15, 2012 Six hasn't updated yet. Either do it manually or just play on the 1.7.2.4 servers
Jng88Jng 5 Posted August 15, 2012 I haven't been able to play for three days. I just sit at "loading"I thought I was getting stuck too but I found out for most servers it takes like 5-10mins to get passed that loading screen.
nightscar 0 Posted August 15, 2012 going to piggyback this thread for a second, my question is similar.can you use the play with six program?or do you have to use the old six updater?
Domocus 2 Posted August 15, 2012 Look at the version, it's not up to date. Just update manually.
Avis Nocturnae 11 Posted August 15, 2012 Just use Dayz Commander. 10x better than six launcher.
Seattle 4 Posted August 15, 2012 theres a arma update you need too, version 95883 the last i checked. and on our servers cp theres a bunch of battleye and dayz and arma beta files for a newer version.for days after using six launcher i finally bent and went to DayZ support. after several attempts we figured out six launcher is reverting the manual update back. but it wasent deleting or overwriting the update files so even trying to join a older working version sserver was a stuck on loading. waiting 2 hours on the loading didnt help. dont use six launcher. or day z commander. just launch it from the arma beta patch short cut in the arma add ons folder . use the multi player browser there. i havent had a hitch since.make sure you have both the arma2 beta udate, and the dayz uodate. i had to end up with a full uninstall>search>delete remnans>re download/install, re download dayz files, re dowload arma beta 95883, then put every thing in its place. then the server we rent was totally bonked and the wonderful guys and or gals at HFB servers fixed it up. so if you find when using six launcher you cant get into any games of old or new versions you might want to hit up dayz support with a ticket, they may have a little guide or some more detailed instructions then the community can give.good luck. FogeyZ Gilly 15 Posted August 15, 2012 Use dayz commander . A lot better and you can roll back easy if needed
banshee 6 Posted August 16, 2012 Use Play with SIX. It's much better and supports several versions together with differential file transfers. This means it'll only downloads the changed bits and not entire files. Also it has a reliable buddy system as well as private and groupchats. :)http://play.withsix.com
cindyanne1 41 Posted August 16, 2012 Just use Dayz Commander. 10x better than six launcher.This. It really is. Although my McAfee didn't want me to install it at all... I had to over-ride it several times. Still, I took my chances and I'm really glad I did. It's so much better than Six Launcher.
