Spawn reset overnight? Screwed me over. :(

I love that my server reset my spawn to the shore for some reason. Even though I ended my night at Black Lake. So then a zombie pretty far away suddenly runs toward me, which must have alerted a nearby player, who shot and killed me. My gear and friend's gear I was holding (who was killed lastnight) all gone.

Wtf? Is this common for spawns to be reset?

It happened to me once. Logged out just east of Cherno and next log in I was near Kamyshovo or whatever. I've heard others on the forums complaining about it as well.

Spawning on the coast is a new bug that came with 1.7.2.5 update. Some think it is a fix for server hopping but since it has happened to those who logged and didn't play again for some hours before reconnecting it has been deemed a bug. It can also happen in instances where all of your gear is deleted. The most obvious sign that you will spawn on the coast is if you spawn in and die instantly reappearing in the debug plains.

Rocket is aware of this issue. It has occured to me SEVERAL times and at the moment there is nothing that we can do to rid ourselves of this issue. It sucks man I know...
