Battle Eye? What Is It?

So, I'm gonna download ArmA 2 CO tonight.

I have a guide on how to install day and the beta patches and yada yada.

One thing is on my mind though, Battle Eye.

Will I have it when I download ArmA 2 or will I need to download it? What does it even do?

its a piss poor excuse of an anti cheat, it should be called battle blind as it runs that way. It will probably get better though but time will tell.
