Second use of DayZ CD-Key

Good evening to everyone, first of all i want to apologize for my English.

Few day ago my friend bought Arma2 DayZ CD-Key, but he didn't like this game and he want to give me his CD-Key,

the questions is: Can I re-use his key to play on my computer, and what about Battleye, can i get banned for this???

It should work as long as it doesn't have a Global Ban. Is it a retail copy?

it's absolutely new cd-key which was bought from russian site, it's not banned or something.

he was playing from Six launcher, not from steam.
