So I was camping a crashed heli in mogilevka and had to log out to run an errand come back to find myself choosing male or female after a complete respawn. I didnt hop version i stayed in 1.7.2.4, is there any chance of logging into another server with my items or do i need to just start regearing?

That has happened to my friend a lot. You might be lucky and still have your gear, but its hit or miss.

I say try 1 or 2 other servers.

There are some servers that seem to be hive-independent. That means they do not save your gear or stats, they simply play by their own rules (check start inventory on such servers, it might be altered). So don't worry if you are greeted with the gender question when entering a server, it might just be a non-hive server.

Why when i rejoined another server the day after i logged out, i find i have to choose the male skin again and ive lost everything. I thought ur items/stats stayed with you no matter what server you join. Now ive got to try and find the server i was in to get all my gear back? Never had this problem before.

I believe im runing the 7.4 version as 6 updater hasn't given me the latest version yet.
