Install the one in the green box on this page. http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

Do this anytime this happens.

Ive done this and it still doesnt work.

That's your help. In the versions tab update everything and enjoy.

I'll try this now, thanks!

Edit: Tried this and everything is up to date already, should also mention that every new server i join resets my character back to Day 0

Edit 2: Also getting stuck at loading screens.

Don't be an asshole about it, because of your attitude and your 'report' (that isn't even a report) you're showing yourself as a user who doesn't care about anyone else or regards for people attempting to help you. The mod team are not required to help individuals with technical issues, and are here to mainly help out the community through moderating the forums and handling situations, so please do not report your thread calling forum staff 'Fuckwits' in all caps rage.

Also no one is going to reply immediately, give it a few days instead of a few hours.

If you really want to know the issue, your arma isn't updated to the latest beta patch. It's updated every few days to a week, so they might of pumped out a new update. Please look at the lower right of your screen next time where it's in all red stating: 1.62.95883 and on your main menu the Arma version is clearly different.

Good day.

Feh, thats what I get for assuming.

Point still stands, don't do this. If you're using an alternative program to update I cannot help you as I don't use those, I usually update it myself manually.

You state you have the same issue, therefore we assume that you have [b\THE SAME ISSUE.

So tell me, what is your problem since you didn't post what the problem is?

Letex, send me a PM and I'll see if i can help. I feel maybe this thread is going to be closed after that hijack ;)

Letex says he got it working. Sounds like that other guy might have more serious hardware problems, maybe a defective keyboard actuator. Seems to be beyond the scope of this topic.

I try that but when i click install ( the update for Arma 2 and DayZ ) it says Arma2OA path unknown check settings , and it says the same thing for DayZ and when i check setting sit just has a yellow flag next to 'replace arma2OA files with beta so steam works but when i click that nothing happens

Can you tell me what you got listed under "Game Directories" in DayZ Commander options?

Also, let us know if you have the Steam version, and if you have 64bit or 32bit Windows. Or, if you can tell us exactly where your Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead is installed, that would be even better.

It'd probably be something like that shown in the screenshot above.
