Well Hi everybody! *i think thats a good start* So i have a little question that maybe someone can respond me, so firts i wanted to know if my laptop can Run DayZ in this link: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx it says i can run DayZ *BUT* when i put Arma II Operation ArrowHead it says that i *CANT* run Arma II OA so my question is- If i cant run Arma II AO Will i have problems with DayZ? Thanks for the help!!!

Yes.

Because DayZ runs through OA.

If you can't run OA...your not going to be able to run DayZ in my opinion.

What are the specs of your machine?

You'd be better off posting those up so people can see.

Try ArmA 2 Free, if it runs without problems, go on ahead and buy the game :)

I'm sorry, but I highly doubt that a laptop with a dual core processor is able to run ArmA 2, let alone DayZ.

The graphics card seems old. Maybe with an resolution like 1024x786 its possible but i wont make guesses. try arma free, cause you can put on those settings in dayz with low textures and low trees/grass. if it runs, then dayz will too.

Just to clear things up for people, ArmA 2 is a rather CPU hungry beast I might say, it doesn't crave for GPU as much because it does all the simulations etc. real-time so it can put quite a strain on your CPU and not so much on your GPU.

But yeah, you should definitely try ArmA 2 free, you got nothing to lose than your time, right? Hehe.

Well.ummm... Yeah i lag a lot so my FPS its always in 9-10 if im lucky 11 lol.....yeah i cant play the game i really wanted to play (Yes i put all the resolution on very Low and still i get 10 FPS) Thanks for your help guys :(

I feel sorry for you honestly. Your disappointment is very clear man. Maybe read through the stuck @ loading screen topics will clear you up. Those guys spend 24,99 on a game they can't play :-)
