Sadisto 28 Posted August 14, 2012 So, i've started playing about 1 month agodue to the let's say "influence" of my friend i've been a "shoot and ask questions later" kind of guywell he stopped playing shortly after it.Then i read about those "so-called Medics" and found interest in them, so i started setting up tents with supplies and near the beach so it's visible from the beach but not from a sniping postion to help new players out, since they're the only people who run around the shores. But now heres the problem:Since the re-introduction of the Humanity System and Hero/Bandits skin it's become impossible for me to help people outdue to my earlier somewhat renegade moves i accumulated roughly -60k Humanity (probably were even higher)and now i'm being shot on sight. Is there some way to speed things up a bit?Help would be appreciated(Sorry for possible grammatical errors since this isn't my native language)
Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted August 14, 2012 Just wear Cammo or a Ghillie. It's going to take you a long time to come back from the depraved depths of -60k. I guess that's what you get for killing random people.
Nurse Kobra 25 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) If your plan is to help freshly spawned players gear up with survival equipment and basic supplies, it doesn't really matter what skin you have. Just plant the tents and keep them stocked. If on the other hand you actually want to find and save patients, you can just participate in the "Need Medical Assistance?" thread and earn some goodwill there, potentially being Whitelisted by the Trusted Medics of the Wasteland. As far as I could tell, they don't care what your humanity is. Edited August 14, 2012 by Nurse Kobra
Sadisto 28 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) @Fraggle:That would be one way to go about it, though if i get killed with my GS i would be pretty much shot on sight after that@NurseKobra same as above i don't think the players that are in need of aid would let me get close without my GS Edited August 14, 2012 by Sadisto
Nurse Kobra 25 Posted August 14, 2012 @NurseKobra same as above i don't think the players that are in need of aid would let me get close without my GSDon't take this the wrong way but, if you're not willing to trust patients enough to take that risk, I don't think being a Medic is the right job for you.
