DayZ using old beta, even though I have updated

Recommended Posts

As said, when I launch the game with steam, it runs Beta 94248. I have installed 95883 a few times and deleted the old beta files. It still doesn't work. I notice that there is a "launch Arma II OA Beta app alongside all the regular exes for the game. Which launches the correct Beta but without the DayZ mod. I am trying to play on the Lingor Island map, so a beta update is essential. Thank you.

*\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta

Go to location:

\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\

and copy OA.exe to the location

\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\

Edit. Wuggie, copying ALL files is not recommended, since it can mess up with the normal Arma2 installation. Copying the .exe is enough, if you run through steam and use the correct launch parameters.
