Backpacks unable to be picked up.

I can't seem to pick up ANY backpacks off the ground. They don't even show up on the menu when I hover over it. Any idea how to fix this?

Sometimes i got it working by right-clicking on the backpack. Same with player corpses i couldn't loot at all before. After right-clicking them i am almost always able to loot them.

Try picking up all the other loot on the ground around the backpack first, sometimes other loot "overlaps" the backpack and prevents you from picking it up.

I've also found that when swapping bags, when putting my bag on the ground it can take a while before the game catchs up and realised that there now a lootable object on the floor..

I had the same issue. I fixed it by moving into a position and getting lucky dragging over it, but the above solutions sound better.
